DIGITAL NEWS AND MEDIA

Undergraduate

WHY BUCKINGHAM

Home of the two-year degree, we are ranked 1st for Teaching Excellence in the UK* and are Europe’s first ever Positive University . Students are at the heart of everything we do: we’ve been 1st in England for Student Satisfaction for three years running (The Complete University Guide). You will love our personalised teaching model (with small class sizes), dedicated student support team, and beautiful, safe campus.

WHY DIGITAL NEWS AND MEDIA

Accurate, credible and democratic journalism has never been more important. The rise of citizen journalism and fake news has changed the media landscape and crowded social media with questionable reporting.

If you want to tell the real story, the one that tells the public what they need to know, we can show you how. On our Digital News and Media course you will be learning how to create compelling content from the very first week. You won’t just talk about digital media and journalism, you’ll be learning practical skills in writing, video and audio editing, graphic creation and content management.

Discover how to tell a story across all media platforms, from the page to the screen, and learn how to produce industry-standard work, and build your portfolio, before you step into the workplace.

WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY
