Choosing a two-year degree has been one of the smartest decisions I have made. It has brought out my confidence, challenged me to achieve to the best of my ability, and really developed my critical thinking. I’ve also saved a big chunk of money.
How does a two-year degree work?
We created our accelerated two-year degrees by adding an extra term in each summer. This means you can graduate faster with a full honours degree than if studying a traditional three-year degree without your workload getting any bigger. You could even choose to continue onto a master’s programme with us, finishing both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in only three years.
Benefits of a two-year degree
Fast-track your studies
Graduate with an accelerated Bachelor’s degree in two years, or continue and complete a Master’s in three years.
Save time and cost
Get into the job market and start earning one year earlier. Saving on tuition and living costs.
Catch up & thrive
Whether you’ve taken a gap year or want a fresh start, a two-year degree and optional January start will keep you on track with your peers.

Will it save me money?
We created our two-year degrees by adding an extra term in each summer. This means you can fit in the same number of teaching weeks as a traditional three-year degree without your workload getting any bigger. You could even choose to continue onto a master’s programme, finishing both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in only three years. Although our annual fee is higher than that of other universities, you will save a whole year’s tuition fees and living costs and start earning earlier.
What loans are available?
Undergraduate UK students are eligible for the same support from Student Finance England as those at other universities, including:
1) An annual repayable Tuition Fee Loan of £6,165 paid direct to the University. If you are eligible for this loan, it will be paid termly.
2) An annual repayable Maintenance Loan to help with your living costs of up to £8,700 (up to £9,916 for students entitled to benefits), paid in instalments directly to you after registration.

I chose the two-year degree as I liked the fact that I would get into work a year before my friends. Although accelerated, I’ve found the workload completely manageable and enjoyable. Unlike some friends who have complained about having extensive and counterproductive free time and holiday elsewhere, I prefer the structure of the two-year degree which gives you more than enough holiday, without the stress of exams looming for when you return.
